Becoming a limited company is a big step. Done well, it sets you up for tax efficiency, credibility, and easier funding. Done badly, you end up with the wrong share structure, missing registrations, or surprise tax bills.

We’ve incorporated hundreds of UK businesses. We’ll guide you through the decisions (share classes, alphabet shares, registered office, year-end choice), get it done quickly, and make sure HMRC knows about you.

The questions we get asked

Common questions.

If yours is not here, ring us. We answer in four rings on weekdays and write back the same day on emails.

01 How long does company formation take?
Usually under 24 hours from when you give us the details. Companies House registers most companies the same day. We then handle HMRC Corporation Tax registration which takes another few working days.
02 Should I be a sole trader or a limited company?
Generally Ltd starts to make sense around £30k–£40k profit, depending on your other income. Below that, sole trader is simpler and the tax difference is small. We'll model both for you in your free consultation.
03 Can I use your address as my registered office?
Yes, for £15/month. Your home address won't appear on the public Companies House register, and we'll forward any post (digitally or physical) to you.
